about us
Our Mission
PVO looks beyond training having the sole purpose of delivering skill sets. We see training as a vehicle for individuals and organisations to give back to their communities.
We tailor all our programs to ensure that they are a perfect fit for your organisation. We can deliver stand alone units of competency or cluster them together to create a skill set unique to your organisation.
We work alongside private companies and government agencies. There is a constant engagement with Industry which ensures our training programs are current, relevant, and compliant with ASQA standards.
How a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) can benefit you
Registered Training Organisation’s (RTO’s) deliver accredited training and assessment and issue documentation through the Australian Qualifications Framework. This means we are audited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to ensure compliance and that our standards meet the standards for Registered Training Organisations.
The essential difference between accredited training and non-accredited training is that the successful completion of an accredited training course means you are issued with a nationally recognised certification.
Accreditation is formal confirmation that the course:
• is nationally recognised and meets quality assurance requirements,
• meets an established industry, enterprise, educational, legislative or community need,
• provides appropriate competency outcomes and a satisfactory basis for assessment.
A non-accredited training course does not count towards a recognised qualification, but is designed to still teach you relevant skills that will enable you to perform your job more effectively.
Examples of these courses include:
- Leadership courses
- Conflict resolution courses
- An organisation’s internal training courses.
PVO Training offers both accredited and non-accredited training programs to our clients. Both programs are tailored to the specific client or organisational needs.
